5. Payment methods

Payment is made through a secure payment gateway using a credit or debit card (AND OTHER METHODS IF ACTIVATED: Bizum, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Payment data is transmitted encrypted directly to the processing entity; The platform does not store complete card data.

Tickets purchased through this platform are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-cancellable once the purchase is confirmed, except in the cases expressly stated in this section. The user acknowledges and accepts this condition before completing the payment.

Cancellation by the organizer: If the visit is cancelled or substantially modified due to reasons attributable to the entity that owns the Monument (closure, reduced capacity, technical issues, or religious celebrations that prevent access), the user will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, including administrative fees, or to a change of date if preferred and subject to availability. The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the purchase, within a maximum of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the user is notified. Requests should be submitted to soporte@expedicionmedievo.es.

8. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article 103.l) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users), the right of withdrawal is not applicable to services related to leisure activities when the contract provides for a specific date or period of execution, as is the case with tickets with a specific date and/or time of visit.

This is understood without prejudice to the more favorable cancellation and refund conditions that each Monument may offer in accordance with the previous section.

9. Optional cancellation insurance

During the payment process, the platform may offer users the option to purchase cancellation insurance operated by a third-party insurance company. In such cases, the terms, coverage, exclusions, and claims procedure will be those established in the insurer’s policy, which will be displayed before purchase. This insurance is a separate product from the ticket, and purchasing it does not affect the Monument’s cancellation policy.

Cancellation insurance is the only option available to users who wish to protect themselves against unforeseen personal circumstances that prevent them from attending the visit.

10. Access conditions and visiting rules

Access to each monument is subject to its visiting rules (opening hours, punctuality, dress code, photography, accessibility, minors, groups), available on each monument’s website. The managing entity may deny access or expel from the premises anyone who violates these rules, without the right to a refund.

Reduced rates (for children, seniors, people with disabilities, residents, etc.) require proof of eligibility upon entry. Failure to provide proof of eligibility may result in payment of the difference between the reduced rate and the standard rate, or denial of entry.

As these are mostly active places of worship, religious celebrations or other events may temporarily alter visiting hours. In such cases, visitors will be offered a change of date or a refund in accordance with section 7.

11. Invoices

The user who requires an invoice for their purchase may request it through support@expedicionmedievo.es, indicating the order number and their tax information. The invoice will be issued by the entity that owns the corresponding Monument or, in its name and on its behalf, by the platform operator.
